Temporary Stay Visa and RequirementsGeneral Directorate of Migration Services

The temporary stay visa as mentioned in article 39 is granted to students who want to enter or continue their studies in the country, to foreigners who wish to develop specialized activities, who wishes to exercise volunteering, to dependents of foreigners who hold: temporary stay visa, special stayauthorisation, work visa, and Business Visa Class II. The temporary stay visa is still other unforeseen activities in above, upon application and granted in diplomatic missions or consular missions of DRTL abroad. The temporary stay visa to study is valid for a period of study and can be extended by six months, allowing multiple entries. The visa holders of temporary stay to study may be allowed to provide part-time work under the Government legislation. The temporary stay visa to develop specialized activities, such as cultural, sports, scientific research, for journalistic purposes or perform highly skilled tasks, as the artist, sportsman, researcher, correspondent of foreign media organization or technical highly qualified, is valid for the contract period or mission to the limit maximum of one year, may be extended for equal periods and allows multiple entries. The temporary stay visa to develop short volunteer activities the maximum validity duration is 120 days, allowing for multiple entries. Temporary stay visa for foreign dependants is equal to the validity of the family as it ensures the support of the family and is extended in identical terms, allowing multiple entries.
