The business visa is divided into class I and class II and isgranted to foreigners who intends to develop business activities in the country under line c) of paragraph 1 of Article. The class I business visa is granted to foreigners who wish to enter the country with the aim of developing business prospecting activities or investment. The business visa class I is valid for a maximum period of sixty days, allows multiple entries and except as provided in article 51 is not extended.

The class II business visa is granted to foreigners who intend to settle in the country to pursue business activities within the meaning of line c) paragraph 1 of Article 2, by virtue of his membership or as a commercial company administrator registered or to be registered in the RDTL, and performs certain post of relief, since het stays or intends to stay in the country for a period exceeding 183 ( one hundred eighty-three) days a year. The class II business visa is valid for an initial period of six months, may be extended for periods of two years and allows multiple entries. The extension of class II business visa depends especially effective registration of commercial company with the competent authority and the continuous compliance with legal obligations to which commercial companies are subject in accordance with applicable law and the permanence of the holder in the territory national not periods of less than one hundred eighty-three days per year in National territory of Tmor-Leste.
